They were warmly greeted by students who gave them an entry ticket in the form of a badge which read “Extinction is forever, endangered means we still have time.”

After Dua, a number of academic and Dirasat Islamiyah activities were conducted like:

  • Dinosaur Number Line – a headgear of a dinosaur was given to wear. on flash cards sums were written to be solved. The students had to walk on the number line to solve the sum and write it on the flash card.

  • Anagram Fun – a big word DINOSAUR was given, from that they had to make small CVC words.

  • Vintage Clay Modelling – students had to mould any extinct or endangered animal from the clay.

  • Name Card Activity – On individual flashcards, pictures of  extinct animals with its name were printed. On the same card, there were blocks drawn for each letter.

Students had to copy the word by writing the letter, in each block, on the

flashcard given, this helped them to read and write a new word.

  • Dirasat Islamiyah Activity – Students had to stick the paper having Maula TUS’s bayan on it, and paste on an ice–cream stick.

  • Parental Involvement – Parents had to prepare a poster on any one of these topics:

  1. Save Tigers – Save Trees

  3. Protect our Last Wilderness

The mothers had a wonderful time and lavishly praised the event held. They were very happy to see the ambience of the classroom, their child’s work which was displayed and the interesting activities arranged for them. A completely new theme on Extinct animals was done, and they were amazed to hear their child use the new vocabulary words and talk about the amazing facts of each animal with ease.
