Geometry

Geometry is a branch of mathematics that studies the sizes, shapes, positions, angles and dimensions of things. Circles are very important parts of geometry, we find circles in everyday life--they're just about everywhere.
Students of Std IV had an Encircling Activity where they explored different parts of circle (radius, diameter, circumference and centre) by practically handling and measuring real life circular objects.
It was a pleasant site to see students in the school premises after a long-time – the activity was conducted in groups of 10 over a period of 2 days, all government norms were taken into consideration by the school.
