“Let’s Race to know the Numbers Place”

I don't know, but I've been told,

The values our digits hold.

First we look to the right,

And see the ones shining bright.

Next we move one spot left,

Tens are there, they are the best.

If you move one spot more,

You'll see the hundreds we adore.

If you and me keep on going,

Next we'll find the thousands grooving.

Students made an Abacus to understand the concept of place value. They played an online quiz and represented their answers on the Abacus. Students learnt to read the number names, denote them in figures and represent the missing place value with zero. The quiz was conducted online through a PPT; it was an enthralling experience for the kids.
